Worth It Songtext
von Beth Crowley

Worth It Songtext

Sometimes I get anxious and fixate on how I wish that I could
Be less apprehensive and start pretending like
The time′s not catching up with me
Before I'm ready
′Cause I have so much left I wanna finish
With no guarantee that
Everything I'm chasing won't outpace me
It′s a race that I′m so scared of losing
So I keep moving

Isn't it strange knowing one day
The people we become are going to fade?
But what we create will survive when we are gone
So even if I just make a fraction of a difference
I′m almost certain, it will have been worth it

I'm happy for the people who find comfort in a higher power
Feel a sense of purpose in their certainty
That there is more than all of this
It makes me jealous
But just ′cause I'm not saved
In all the ways a person thinks I should be
Doesn′t mean I don't care if there's somewhere
That might save a little room for me
So I′m not lonely

Isn′t it strange knowing one day
The people we become are going to fade?
But what we create will survive when we are gone
So even if I just make a fraction of a difference
I'm almost certain, it will have been worth it

Isn′t it strange knowing one day
The people we become are going to fade?
But what we create will survive when we are gone
So even if I just make a fraction of a difference
I'm almost certain, it will have been worth it
