Little rabbit run
Run across my path
Jump over the hill
And then underground
So deep, so dark

Deep beneath the willow trees
There is no one
On the riverbank
The little rabbit does live

Ratty wakes and yawns
He′s a-feeling so tired
He's a-thinking of how
On his river-boat
All around he′d sail


And deep beneath the ground
Sleeping, the mole
Dreaming of the Spring
And Summer time to follow
He's a-friends of the wood (these are friends of the wood?)

And Mr. toad asleep
Sleeping alone
Dreaming of when
On his motor-car
He can fly like the wind

Badger in the wood
Don't you think it′s time now
To call everyone?
Well now spring has come
Leaves us with the sun
The sun
