Then the Maker of creation
Saw my desperate situation
And He saved my life

In the One whose love is now my guiding light
Jesus set my course for heaven
He changed my direction
Now I only need to trust Him and obey

My strength and goodness only led me
Adrift on oceans of despair
But now that Jesus is my Savior
I'm eternally secure
