Shut the World Out Songtext

Shut the World Out Songtext
I was very insecure as a kid but I found a place
inside myself where nobody could bully me, a haven
from that small-town mentality. A state of mind where
my emotions all were, and still are, something I didn′t
need to be ashamed of. I still go to that place every
day and shut the world out, just shut it all out. It's what keeps me going on when I feel I′m not so strong at all.
It's what keeps me holding on when I'm weak enough to
fall. Music lights a spark in me, finds the place where I
can express myself and be heard. And when I′m there I
can stay for hours.
