The Flood Songtext
von Asphyx
The Flood Songtext
Nature sends its servants of disaster
They strike and convince the holy winds
Guides the hurricane up to their own ends
Striking hard on the southern province
Wild winds raving on entire coastlines
The heavy storm comes in from the northwest
Maximum velocity of nature
Elements seem to have coalesced
Levels exceeding, continuing downpour
In culmination of a tidal surge
Roaring and raving, ravishing gales
Conditions persist to emerge
Sights of desperation, out of human hand
Vessels sending out their SOS
Wreckages sinking, their fate was sealed
Impossible to aid them with success
Defences breaking, tanks crumbling down
Not all were able to resist the force
Surprising havoc, widening gaps
The conquesting flood shows no remorse
Villages drowning, livestock swept away
All communication broken down
Lost all connections, buildings collapsed
Disappeared and overflown all towns
Record launching helicopters searching
Delivering supplies and bags of sand
Evacuate the dead and the living
Emergency withdrawals from tainted land
They strike and convince the holy winds
Guides the hurricane up to their own ends
Striking hard on the southern province
Wild winds raving on entire coastlines
The heavy storm comes in from the northwest
Maximum velocity of nature
Elements seem to have coalesced
Levels exceeding, continuing downpour
In culmination of a tidal surge
Roaring and raving, ravishing gales
Conditions persist to emerge
Sights of desperation, out of human hand
Vessels sending out their SOS
Wreckages sinking, their fate was sealed
Impossible to aid them with success
Defences breaking, tanks crumbling down
Not all were able to resist the force
Surprising havoc, widening gaps
The conquesting flood shows no remorse
Villages drowning, livestock swept away
All communication broken down
Lost all connections, buildings collapsed
Disappeared and overflown all towns
Record launching helicopters searching
Delivering supplies and bags of sand
Evacuate the dead and the living
Emergency withdrawals from tainted land
