Death knocks upon so many doors
I am waiting to the day it will knock on mine
It came for my ally, my own flesh and blood
I knew from that moment my test has arrived

Testing my spirit, and testing my faith

I marched to the field with no doubt in my mind
My spirit the true friend I've got

Pushing and fighting to keep hope alive
Thoughts never left they ate me within

From the moment it started, till the moment it ended

I got closer one day at a time
Targets closed in, as the moment of truth came near.

Out came the word, by battle is done
Death ran away, all fears are now gone
