Outcast Songtext

Outcast Songtext
Born from dust and bone
Naked and afraid they form
Compliments of one another
Hand in hand they go
Garden of mystical delight
These protagonists lie
This heavenly sight
Held under the holy light
Behold the mighty tree
Holding infinite wisdom as they see
A serpent slithers out
Tells the tale of the fruit
And it′s power that can give
One this gift straight from God
An apple fell far from the tree
The mistake made by these two beings
To believe the beast cost them so much
Now what did they have left?
They must now go onward
There's no place left to go
Is this conclusion befitting?
The apple was taken
Banished from the land
The two beings left here
Never to return again
Cast out by the father
Their own flesh and blood
Starved due to a mistake
The risk they chose to take
Now damned away
Forever led astray
The serpent had won
They, original sin
Consider it a gift
To be unforgiven like they
Outcast and forgotten
The purest way to live life
The apple was taken
Banished from the land
The two beings left here
Never to return again
Cast out by the father
Their own flesh and blood
Starved due to a mistake
The risk they chose to take
Now damned away
Forever led astray
The serpent had won
They, original sin
Naked and afraid they form
Compliments of one another
Hand in hand they go
