Calico, Alone Songtext

Calico, Alone Songtext
In the morning, I don't do nothing
Bite my tongue and the sun gets born
See the crows and ravens are swarming
Something must've died out in the corn
Oh I go
Twisted like a tornado
Thunder rolls
And Calico, alone
Comb my hair in front of the mirror
Scrape my skin with the razor's blade
Rub my eyes so I can see clearer
Dump the ashes out of the tray
Oh I fold
Every single hand that I hold
Just skin and bones
And Calico, alone
I get dressed in my Sunday best
Oh how I want to come clean
'Father heal me's when I'm kneeling
All I feel is in-between
So I sit and I stare
In the sanctuary air
Watch my breath just disappear
Try to act like I don't care
Oh I go
Quiet as a step in the snow
It's ten below
And Calico, alone
Bite my tongue and the sun gets born
See the crows and ravens are swarming
Something must've died out in the corn
Oh I go
Twisted like a tornado
Thunder rolls
And Calico, alone
Comb my hair in front of the mirror
Scrape my skin with the razor's blade
Rub my eyes so I can see clearer
Dump the ashes out of the tray
Oh I fold
Every single hand that I hold
Just skin and bones
And Calico, alone
I get dressed in my Sunday best
Oh how I want to come clean
'Father heal me's when I'm kneeling
All I feel is in-between
So I sit and I stare
In the sanctuary air
Watch my breath just disappear
Try to act like I don't care
Oh I go
Quiet as a step in the snow
It's ten below
And Calico, alone
