Blue the rat, well imagine that
She′s a rat that's kinda blue

But I don′t mean unhappy and I don't mean sad
I'm talkin′ ′bout the rat named Blue

Well she got some fur and a skinny tail
And a nose and whiskers too

But she's not a dog and she′s not a cat
I'm talkin′ 'bout the rat named Blue

She loves to spin on her spinnin′ wheel
She takes a spin after every meal

You pick her up and she climb climb climb
She tickles your skin, but she doesn't bite
OW! Just kiddin'


Blue the rat doesn′t wear a hat
But she′s a mammal like me and you

And she doesn't wear pants
And she doesn′t need shoes
I'm talkin′ 'bout the rat named Blue

Well she loves to itch and she loves to scratch
And play around in her wood chip patch

She digs a hole and she takes a nap
′Til her friends come 'o knockin', tap tap tap

Yes she loves to play with the kids all day
And her furry pal BJ too

And a girl named Alex and a boy named Sue
