Two little birds were whistling
About something and nothing and anything
One was green, one was brown
Fine feathery friends were they
They even flew upside down

The two little birds were whistling

Though they′ve been sitting there a while
They were sights that they'd never seen


Said one to the other
The other replied
And that′s what happened

One bird flew up past the tree top
The other flew down two the ground
They explored on their own
And after they've flown
They met back on the branch
To share what they both had found
