I was a soldier of strongest opinions
Made laws of the winds and the wills of my mind
To come back and learn what a sense of affection conformity brings

I was allowed in the houses of strangers
I walked with the heat of the sun on my back
I come back and seek what′s been learned through the ages
And written in stone

I talked to gurus of buried traditions
Gave way to the prejudices in my head
They seem to restrict but protect us it's sewn in the fabric of man

I was as nameless anonymous mammal
Confused by the classification of men
Until I was nameless enough that I no longer knew who I was

I′ve been away quite far
Been out the seas
And stars
To just want to be a part
Of sermons and speeches now
