The moment we woke up together revolution took place
Our hotel room of last night fell victim to the flames
And we won′t turn around while our things are burning
Your credit card and car keys and my former life
We're following wild horses to the centre of the town

This is the right time to step out of line
For we′ll be shaking hands with the brave
And who are we to change the way things go
As we go down to Tahrir Square

There must be blue heaven behind the smog and the jetfighters in the sky
And if there's no tomorrow this could be our last chance to die
My last good shirt a white flag in the hands of the unconvincables
Wild horses and camels
And the old man has got to go
For something new must rise

And who are we to stop the course of time

Policemen shooting above our heads

As we kiss on Tahrir Square
