How can we stand to play a part in this masquerade
Climb over the wall and be ashamed of it all
Hiding in the shade nauseated with no concern
Listen to a heart while drifting slowly apart And when we talk about it it′s just the other way
We gonna miss the point here any day
Sometimes we feel and see it it's just a breath away
We′re growing strangers to it anyway


And when we touch it's a form of apology
Take it for love not a moment to miss
And as we're moving closer it takes another day
We could be losing ourselves anyway
Looking at morning papers utterly put to shame
Nothing will ever matter anyway
It′s just a masquerade
