Nocturnal Forest Songtext
Left a prisoner of his loathsome intellect
Eating rancid flesh of the surface in his mind
The woods chant a nocturne to the captives of the grey
Forsaken to rot away
In a land so bleak
This copse it calls to him
Blinded by ignorance and despair
He drifts towards the voice of the nights cold shriek
To rot there forever
Left with the noise of the trees screaming his name
At peace with the woods, isolation with his grave
A hesitation arises from deep within
Carving a message into his raw skin
"To whom it may concern
My mind, always so warped and grim, there is no way to live, i know what
I am doing
Dear children, please forgive me, for I cannot go on any longer"
With one last deep breath
He sinks his fingers into his abdomen, gauging out flesh
Organs spread on the ground, writhing in pain, whilst ripping lungs right
From their frame
Sickening stench of repugnant meat, nauseating bliss and an odious cheat
Bleeding out on the dirt into the nocturnal forest
Eating rancid flesh of the surface in his mind
The woods chant a nocturne to the captives of the grey
Forsaken to rot away
In a land so bleak
This copse it calls to him
Blinded by ignorance and despair
He drifts towards the voice of the nights cold shriek
To rot there forever
Left with the noise of the trees screaming his name
At peace with the woods, isolation with his grave
A hesitation arises from deep within
Carving a message into his raw skin
"To whom it may concern
My mind, always so warped and grim, there is no way to live, i know what
I am doing
Dear children, please forgive me, for I cannot go on any longer"
With one last deep breath
He sinks his fingers into his abdomen, gauging out flesh
Organs spread on the ground, writhing in pain, whilst ripping lungs right
From their frame
Sickening stench of repugnant meat, nauseating bliss and an odious cheat
Bleeding out on the dirt into the nocturnal forest
