Black Lives Matter Songtext

Black Lives Matter Songtext
Ignorance is an intricately woven fabric of colours
Dyed to create the illusion of purity
The result of an evil enigma
Manifested to create certain conditions
We must eliminate
A bifurcated society
Firewalled to protect the political wealth and power
Of white imperialism
Against the insurrection of the oppressed
The system has ruined the lives
Of black Americans for centuries
Confounding a myriad of principles
That should protect its citizens
However, the rule of law was never intended
To equate citizenship to former slaves
Illustrating the malignant ideology
That is germane to the paradox
All lives matter
America pretends to be blind with complacency
And hides behind the shadows of the past
But our past is sanitized through the textbooks
Creating the illusion that the remnants of racial injustice
Have perished
