Whether by chaos, corruption, or greed
These glorious ventures

Peddled existence collected with interest
Will poison the minds of these unfurled spines

Born in the image of ignorance and fear
Poetic projections achieving ascension
With fallible freedoms and ruinous wisdom
We mask our repugnance with fragrance of progress and reason


The blood of fools will flow
From gaping wounds of old
Into the hearts of man
Blood of fools will flow

With lions strength from lupine breast
Another suitor rises to contest
Where brothers lie in shallow graves
From east to west, embattled and enslaved

What world will remain to behold?
When all of our eyes have been closed
So narrow the passage of time
Unyielding the witness′ eye

Alas, withdrawn
Shackles shaken but not gone
Release but not reward
A thousand years of darkness to endure
