Anchor Songtext

Anchor Songtext
Walk through groves of eucalyptus
And arrive at the muddy beach
The sounds of distant birds reach us
While dawn is far from reach
A few wooden boats are locked to the sand
We sat down on one with our guitars
Sang about how we hate this land
While the sea reflected the stars
While the sea reflected the stars
And I just wanna be floating on the sea, my anchor tied to land
That way I will know which way i should go to find a new plan
It′s getting foggy and hard to tell
There are abandoned vessels in the bay
That ignore the wind and the swell
While rocking in each other's wake
You told me one time not long ago
You got too curious with a friend
And together you did row
Out to where those vessels end
Out to where those vessels end
And I just wanna be floating on the sea, my anchor tied to land
That way i will know, which way i should go to find a new plan
And I just wanna be floating on the sea, my anchor tied to land
And arrive at the muddy beach
The sounds of distant birds reach us
While dawn is far from reach
A few wooden boats are locked to the sand
We sat down on one with our guitars
Sang about how we hate this land
While the sea reflected the stars
While the sea reflected the stars
And I just wanna be floating on the sea, my anchor tied to land
That way I will know which way i should go to find a new plan
It′s getting foggy and hard to tell
There are abandoned vessels in the bay
That ignore the wind and the swell
While rocking in each other's wake
You told me one time not long ago
You got too curious with a friend
And together you did row
Out to where those vessels end
Out to where those vessels end
And I just wanna be floating on the sea, my anchor tied to land
That way i will know, which way i should go to find a new plan
And I just wanna be floating on the sea, my anchor tied to land
