I′d see two fleecy, clouds caress
And they'd become a snow-white party dress
For my wishing doll
And every rainbow way up there
Became a silkin′ ribbon for the hair
Of my wishing doll

And then one day, one day there'd be
A party dress and ribbons just for me
And not for my raggedy, taggeddy

For she had wished them all for me
