Embittered, bruised and beaten, I saw the world anew

The nihilistic instinct flashed its terrifying teeth
And in soft alluring whispers, bade me yield
Still, the grandeur I have witnessed, that extravagant display
Inspired a premonition, my fate was yet unsealed
